The two extremes of city grid and curve dictate the behavior of the puzzle pieces, encouraging them to conform, distort, and break the mold of the perimeter, underlying a pedagogy for the students within. As the day passes, students move through the site in clockwise formation. Within Urban Ring, architecture and urbanism meet at the intersection of wood grain (skylight) and wood slab (massing).
